Contact Your 3D Modelling Experts in Christchurch

 • 3D Design Service: Offered and invoiced  separately from 3D printing, with a minimum charge of $60 per hour.
An assessment is made of complexity of the design (independent of size) and this translates to the time required.

 • Design Requirements: Requires an original object, hand sketch with dimensions, or a precise CAD drawing in PDF format. Photos alone are useful but insufficient.

 • Customer involvement may be requested to assess the proof print for fit and accuracy to make finishing tweaks.

 • Deliverables: Editable STEP file, a proof 3D print using PLA material, and a quotation for optional production 3D printing.

Yes, we routinely remove printing support materials, clean the surface, and can also assemble separate parts of a printed item using screws or similar methods if needed.

It’s very easy. Just fill out the form on our Contact Us page with a brief description of your needs, attach a photo, CAD blueprint (PDF), or model (STEP, STL, OBJ) file, and we’ll get back to you as quickly as possible.

Yes, but you must make sure you have the legal right to reproduce it, as we only print what you provide. You are responsible for any copyright issues and fees for downloading the model. If fees need to be paid, pay them and download the model into your own shareable storage such as Google Drive and send us the public link.

In general, yes. Modern 3D FDM materials show layer lines less obviously. Surface finishing, such as gloss and texture reduces visibility, and finer resolution printing also helps improve the result. Carbon Fibre Materials hide layer lines very well.

We can offer 3D printing in up to two colours for one item. Assemblies with separate parts can have individual parts printed in different colours and/or materials, assembled into one Model.

Our largest equipment allows us to print models that fit inside a space that is 350 mm (W) x 350 mm (D) x 350 mm (H). Diagonals of that space (from 490 mm up to 600 mm)  can be used with some models, but scaffold supports may be needed.
Our smaller printers have a maximum space of 250 mm (W) x 220 mm (D) x 270 mm (H) with diagonals (from 330 mm to 420 mm).
Sizes larger than these limits can be considered by cutting and joining if the design of the model allows.
